DFRobot's BOSON Kit: Powerful LEGO STEM Building Blocks

DFRobot has launched a new crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. BOSON is a range of modular electronics components for aspiring inventors from age 8+.

There are lots of different kids of blocks including lots of different sensors and inputs, LEDs, servos, motors, buzzers, logic operations and more.

BOSON is LEGO compatible and can also be attached to projects with magnets, screws or velcro.

You can build lots of stuff with BOSON without needing to code.

BOSON can use an Intel's Curie module for machine learning and pattern recognition. It will also be possible to use BOSON with Arduino and the BBC micro:bit. Coding in Scratch, Blockly, Python and JavaScript is mentioned.

There are several different BOSON Kits to choose from and they come with project cards to get you started.
