A Word Ladder for Puzzle Day

January 29th is Puzzle Day and we don't need much of an excuse to celebrate puzzles around here!

To recognise Puzzle Day we have created a Word Ladder puzzle that links to our new book micro:bit in Wonderland

A word ladder is a type of puzzle that was invented, or at least popularized by, Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Lewis Carroll called these puzzles Doublets.

You have to turn one word into another, by changing one letter at a time. Every word in the word ladder must be a real word (okay we cheated a bit with LED.)

LED - An acronym for Light Emitting Diode (we love a project that lights up!)

PIN - A connection between electronics components and a microcomputer (we love to program our LEDs!)

Solution: LED →BED→BID→BIN→PIN
