The City Clock - Binary Clock Kit
The City Clock is a gorgeous model kit to make a USB powered clock that shows the time in binary.
This project touches on so much of what we love at Tech Age Kids. It comes as a kit to assemble using glue which should only take around ten minutes. The kit isn't just for kids but the assembly can be done by chikldren from age 10 and up.
And it tells the time using binary which is pretty awesome. The video explains how this works. Understanding binary is really useful for lots of areas of computing so this is a great project for older kids to work on and use.
We love that the end result looks amazing and is useful on a daily basis (well more often than that!)
