Makeblock have said that the Neuron range will include more than 30 different kinds of electronics blocks including common ones and more unusual components.
The blocks are designed to be durable and long-lasting (this is important!) The blocks will be programmable with a flow-based language which will support Internet of Technology (IoT) scenarios.
You can sign-up to get access to an early bird deal when the Kickstarter campaign goes live in February.
Meanwhile, MakeBlock's Airblock modular programmable drone is available to pre-order.
And you can check out our reviews of the Makeblock mBot and mBot Ranger.
It's looking like an amazing year for modular electronics.
