Get Qurious combines Physical Play with Augmented Reality
Get Qurious is a maker box subscription service focused on combining physical play and story-telling with augmented reality. They use familiar stories, like the Three Little Pigs, to engage kids in a modern way of exploring reading, craft and role play.
The kit includes story cards, stickers, puzzles and masks which connects with an iOS device (iPad / iPhone) to bring the story to life using augmented reality technology.
My kids love seeing characters and worlds "pop-out" of a page. There is a real "magical" aspect to augmented reality for kids. We like the idea of taking traditional stories, which many kids are very familiar with, and giving them a tech age upgrade!
