The Spirit Rover is a new crowdfunded robot from Plum Geek. Spirit Rover is influenced by robots used for Mars exploration.
The Spirit Rover is packed with sensors and has a grabber at the front. The Spirit Rover is based around a Raspberry Pi mini computer and can be used for machine vision projects if you add a Pi Camera.
The Rover is designed for beginners and can be programmed using either Python or Arduino. Rover is assembled from a kit (no soldering) and has tutorial material to teach young people and beginners about autonomous robots. And there are lots of Neopixels which is always good!
Note that there are pledges with and without a Raspberry Pi computer.
