ROKDuino: Construction and Coding Robotics Toy

Rokenbok Education have taken a plastic building block toy and added programmable electronics to create ROKDuino. With ROKDuino kids will be able to learn about robotics by creating machines and vehicles that include moving parts and sensors.

Little kids can build their own remote control toy and bigger kids can program their creations using a drag and drop graphical environment. The system is Arduino-based so when they're ready kids can progress to the popular platform.

There's also a code library and educational curriculum to support ROKDuino. The goal is to develop kids robotics and engineering skills as they play.

Check out the ROKDuino crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for more details.
