Dan Alich from DuinoKit is back on Kickstarter with the Easy as Pi Learner Kit for the Raspberry Pi. We previously reviewed the DuinoKit Jr for Arduino and really liked the concept.
Easy as Pi takes the concept of packaged hardware and compatible lessons to the Raspberry Pi so that you can learn to program via the GPIO pins without the hassle of finding stuff that works together and keeping it organised.
There are options with and without the Raspberry Pi computer and screen. In our experience the DuinoKit format works really well, the case and single board is fantastic for storage and making sure you have everything to hand when you need it. And it's great to have lessons that you know will work with the components that you have.
Easy as Pi is already a well developed concept and shipping is planned for August 2016.
